Overview

Runcom provides a complete set of monitoring, provisioning and calibration tools for development, evaluation, calibration and operation of Runcom's mobile subscriber's station (MSS) and base-station (BS) reference designs and original design manufacturers (ODM) commercial products.

The MSS and BS well documented API are being used by ODM's and test equipment vendors for specific applications and can work conjointly with Runcom's tools.

Description

The following software tools are available from Runcom as part of development platform:

• Basic PC GUI: A basic GUI on the PC side enables the user to view and monitor the status of the WiMAX MSS devices.

• Control Monitor: WiBro/WiMAX menu enabling installation and software upgrade, as well as configuration and link status and parameters.

• Technical Monitor: GDB browser for enhanced parameter settings and uploading customized configuration file.

• Calibration Tools: Runcom's calibration tool can be used to calibrate Baseband and RF devices for full frequency and commercial temperature range, with industries fastest calibration time and minimal test equipment needed.

• Trace Tools: enables traces to be reported to Runcom for support during inter-operability tests (IOT).

• API: The well documented API enables ODM, equipment vendor and test equipment vendors to develop  enhanced management layer and includes full Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance and Security (FCAPS ).
