Runcom NMS is a comprehensive, carrier-class network management system that provides comprehensive fault, configuration, performance and security management functionality.
Runcom NMS is designed for service provider and carrier Network Operation Centers (NOCs). It offers the full range of network surveillance, monitoring, configuration & fault management capabilities via user-friendly GUI to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency, and minimize the cost of managing the WiMAX networks.
Runcom NMS supports client/server architecture. The server uses SNMP protocol for the managed network and secured HTTP sessions to communicate simultaneously with its clients. Each client will be assigned to one client profile and according its content the system will grant client privileges for the managed network.
Network management is a top priority for service providers, private and enterprise network operators. An efficient, centralized management system that enables network operators to manage and monitor their systems from one location can help companies to significantly reduce the cost of operating their networks, improve customer satisfaction and enhance their ability to deliver advanced IP services.
The Runcom NMS discovers the Runcom managed elements, display the deployment in various types of network view, monitors network elements, creates various types of inventory tables, collects traffic statistics, provisions services and integrates the existing NMS with the various components' EMS. It also enables operators to perform remote software upgrades to all Runcom equipment on the network from a central location while providing multi-level access of security.
