Site Survey
During the site survey, the following activities are performed by Runcom's FAEs to examine the base station installation site:
Panoramic photographs of the scene viewed by each sector are taken
RF obstacles (buildings, hills, etc) are examined and reportedExact coordinate position of each antenna (X,Y,Z) is measured
Position of neighboring sites is evaluated and studied
The construction and site physical infrastructure is reviewed for p...

RF Planning
The RF Planning service uses a state of the art RF planning tool and an extensive cryptographic data base in order to design the radio network in full detail and simulate the resulting radio coverage.
Given the spectrum availability and parameters of the equipment (base stations and CPE-s) and the data collected during the site surveys, the tool uses an iterative optimization process and simulates the RF propagation seeking an optimal R...
-
On-Site Installation
The service offers site installation work for the first three sites in the deployment. During this process, Runcom installation team will train the customer’s installation team and demonstrate the equipment installation.
Once mechanically installed, powered and connected, field tests are performed and the pilot network starts to operate. At the end of this activity the customer’s technical team is ready to take responsibility for the i...
